Community Action

Community Action on Alcohol Fund

For the 2011/2012 financial year (July 2011 to June 2012) the Community Action on Alcohol Fund (CAAFCommunity Action on Alcohol Fund) will be undertaking a “closed”application process.

Only those invited to participate will be able to submit a funding application. The invited groups will be those existing CAAF providers who require further input to complete or consolidate their current projects. We may also invite applications from community organisations being actively supported by ALAC project staff to develop new community action projects.

This closed round will provide ALAC with an opportunity to consolidate existing providers and build on initiatives and gains made in previous rounds and through new emerging community partnerships and collaborations.

Following the closed 2011/2012 funding round it is anticipated that the 2012/2013 CAAF round will revert to its usual open, contestable process.
