Ease up on the drink: A how to guide for communities and organisations (AL631)

This is a booklet developed to help communities, agencies, organisations and groups to effectively use the Ease up on the drink campaign messages, advertising and resources in their projects, programmes and/or day-to-day work.

The resource includes some information and tips on how to create your own great marketing and communications to support alcohol-harm reduction projects that use messages that are different from Ease up.

The information in this resource is a basic guide based on the questions ALAC is most commonly asked.
 

Guidelines for the development of Alcohol Accords (AL604)

This booklet contains practical advice on setting up Alcohol Accords and how to maintain them. Guidelines for Managing Alcohol at Large Events (AL597)

This updated Guidelines for Managing Alcohol at Large Events reflects best-practice models and provides additional resources to ensure national consistency in its use. It supplements other existing documents such as the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management’s Safety Planning Guidelines for Events, and complements ALAC’s Intoxication Monitoring and Enforcement Guidelines, Controlled Purchase Operation Guidelines, National Protocol on Alcohol Promotions and Host Responsibility Guidelines for Licensed Premises. Below is a template to help you plan your event.
